在 Mac 上开始使用 Vao

Vao 0.1.0 · Apple Silicon（M 系列）· macOS 12 及以上。当前暂不提供 Intel Mac 或 Windows 版本。

1. 下载并安装

下载 DMG，打开后将 Vao 拖入“应用程序”。退出磁盘映像，再从“应用程序”打开 Vao。也可以解压 ZIP 后拖入。

如需核对文件，可在终端运行 shasum -a 256 下载的文件路径，并与 SHA256SUMS 对照。

2. 首次打开时允许 Vao

当前版本使用开发签名，尚未经过 Apple 公证。第一次打开时，macOS 可能显示“未打开 Vao”，并提示 Apple 无法验证它是否包含恶意软件。这是系统对未公证应用的安全提示，不代表安装包已损坏。

  1. 在提示窗口点击完成。不要点击“移到废纸篓”，否则会删除刚安装的 Vao。
  2. 打开系统设置 → 隐私与安全性，向下滚动到安全区域。
  3. 找到已阻止打开 Vao 的提示，点击仍要打开。
  4. 按系统要求输入 Mac 密码或使用 Touch ID，再确认打开。
  5. 如果暂时没有看到“仍要打开”，先退出 Vao，再从“应用程序”打开一次，然后回到系统设置查看。

不同 macOS 版本的按钮文字可能略有差别。不需要关闭 Gatekeeper 或 SIP。

3. 选择语音和文字服务

首次打开时，阅读数据处理说明并主动同意后，可以开通 Vao 提供的默认体验。体验期为 30 天，每天 200 次模型请求；通常一段录音的识别和整理共使用 2 次，每段最长 120 秒。

默认体验用于在配置自己的服务前试用 Vao。它是共享服务，不能保证响应速度；繁忙时请求会排队，输出可能变慢。想获得更稳定的响应和效果，建议连接自己的云端服务或本地模型。语音识别和文字整理可以分别配置，安装包中不包含共享 API Key。

4. 授予系统权限

在 Vao 的设置中允许麦克风。使用 Fn、读取选中文字或把结果填入其他应用时，需要允许辅助功能。输入监控按系统提示授权。请确认授权的是“应用程序”中的 Vao，路径为 /Applications/Vao.app。

如果输入监控列表中没有 Vao，点击应用内“在访达显示当前应用”，再用系统列表左下角的“＋”添加这个应用。开启后点击“重启 Vao 并检测”。以 Vao 中显示的实际状态为准。如果开关已开但仍未生效，先关闭并重新打开系统设置；仍不行时，使用对应权限的重新登记入口。重新登记会撤销这一项权限，需要你再次开启。

5. 说出第一段话

按一次主快捷键开始，说完再按一次结束。普通录音默认会自动填入原来的输入位置；可以在设置中关闭，改为先查看结果。Vao 不会替你发送消息。微信等没有暴露输入框的应用，请先点击消息输入框。

快捷键可以在设置中自行录入或填写，包括 Fn 和 Fn+Space。新安装时的初始主键是 Control+Option+Space，初始翻译键是 Control+Option+T；改过之后以你的设置为准。空闲时按翻译键可以直接开始翻译录音；录音中再按它，可以开启或关闭需要翻译的片段。整段录音仍由主键结束。选中文字后按主键，直接说出修改要求，结果会先供你确认。

Vao 0.1.0 runs on Apple Silicon Macs with macOS 12 or later. Intel Macs and Windows are not available in this release. Download the DMG, drag Vao into Applications, eject the disk image, and open Vao from Applications.

This release is developer-signed and not yet notarized by Apple. If macOS says it cannot verify Vao, click Done, not Move to Trash. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, click Open Anyway beside the blocked Vao notice, and confirm with your password or Touch ID. Do not disable Gatekeeper or SIP.

After reading and accepting the data notice, you can activate a 30-day starter service with 200 model requests per day. A normal recording usually uses two requests and can last up to 120 seconds. This shared service is for trying Vao before connecting your own service. Response times are not guaranteed, and busy periods may queue requests. Connect your own cloud or local models for more consistent results.

Allow Microphone in Vao Settings. Accessibility is needed for Fn, selections, and insertion into other apps. If Input Monitoring does not list Vao, reveal the installed app and add it with the system + button, then restart Vao and check its status. Press your main shortcut once to start and again to finish. Ordinary dictation inserts automatically by default; turn it off in Settings to review first. A fresh installation starts with Control+Option+Space and Control+Option+T, but changed shortcuts follow your settings. The translation shortcut can start a translated recording when idle and toggles a translated segment during recording. Vao never sends a message for you.
